Do you have a date for Valentines Day??

I did this post on a blog I contribute to monthly, thought I'd share it with you guys here too! 

Not going to lie Valentine's Day is not a big deal to me. My ultimate Valentines date would be in my jammers cuddled up with a blanket and my hubby watching a movie. BUT not everyone thinks the same as I do, so I thought I'd do 4 different outfits from casual to fancy ready for any type of Valentine date!

The Casual Look

Hearts and red pants are perfect for a nice casual outing to the movies or for an all day look before changing into the stunning night outfit. 

The Classic Look

 All black to be classy and sexy, and the pant option is way warmer than wearing a skirt or dress in the snowy weather as we have here in Utah. The gold polka dots and the tuxedo pants adds the glamour to the pair of pants and blouse for the special night.

 The Dressy Look

You can't go wrong with colored tights, a peplum top, and classic skirt for a nice dinner downtown. You can spiff up the outfit with fun colored tights, and the colors pink, red, or purple are perfect for the night. 

 The Fancy Look

This outfit shouts 'I'm ready for the 5 star restaurant Mister Right reserved 2 months ago' The texture screams 'I'm sexy' enough said ;)

Outerwear

February in Utah it's still snowing, so you always need a coat to go along with any outfit and since it's Valentines Day red is the perfect color!

Today was a 'let your hair do whatever it wants to do' type of day. I think I get into that mentality only because I know it's going to be up in a pony tonight when I go to work. Work tonight and tomorrow night then I'm off until next Friday! Woot Woot!

Friday Confessions

So my dad immigrated when he was 11 years old. So he pretty much grew up with more of an American culture than a Vietnamese culture.
As I was growing up he never really brought his Vietnamese culture into my life.
But I've brought a little of the culture into my own life.
For example, when Jeff and I got married we had a Vietnamese ceremony.
Jeff and I have learned to cook Pho at home (Sooo yummy).

Pink Tights

Who loves their pink tights? ME ME!!

I've been dying to wear these and I have felt its been too cold outside for just tights. Today it's been 36 degrees and sunny, which is way better conditions than 12 degrees and overcast for tights. Hope you guys have an amazing day!

Maxi in the winter

What do you think of the maxi during winter?

I only wish I had darker colors. I own this red one, a purple one, teal and gray, and a dark gray one. I feel the purple and teal is mostly summer colors, I've recently wore the gray one, so I went with the red. Red to me can be worn all year round, it all depends on the top/jacket worn. 

I went with a nice button up with a long cardi. Before I picked this combo I had a turtle neck and a jacket on. Both were really good combos I just really liked the button down collar. 

I picked mid calf boots to go with this dress, I think next time I'll wear booties. The mid calf boots were kind of annoying in the fact that they grab the skirt and sometimes made it stick out weird as I walked. 

Well that's my thought on the maxi during winter.
